Paramore is an American rock band. Formed in Franklin (Tennessee) in 2004, and nominated for Grammy awards. Comprises Hayley Williams (vocals), Jeremy Davis (bass) and Taylor York (rhythm guitar). In 2005 they released their first album All We Know Is Falling, in 2007 they released their second album Riot! which was certified platinum in the U.S. and UK, and the Gold in Ireland and New Zealand selling more than two million copies worldwide. His third album, Brand New Eyes was released on September 29, 2009 debuting at number 2 Billboard 200 and selling 175,000 copies in its first week reaching platinum in the UK.
[Edit] 2004-2006: Formation and All We Know Is Falling Hayley Williams moved from Meridian, Mississippi to Franklin, Tennessee 2003 where he met the brothers Farro.3 4 Shortly after llegar.5 No However, prior to forming Paramore, brothers Josh Farro and Zac Farro practiced together after school in another band with Taylor York (Guitar) (later an official member of Paramore) and Jason Clark. No But soon they were lacking a vocalist and that was when one of them, Zac, Hayley met who asked to officiate as a singer with them.3 6 Later, Williams left the band and proved as a soloist in Atlantic Records using (with the consent of the boys) the demos recorded with them. Hayley who was soon persuaded to accept Atlantic Records as a group. Thus, the band was officially formed in early 2004 by Josh Farro (guitar / vocals), Zac Farro (drums), Jeremy Davis (bass) and Hayley Williams (vocals), 7 with the later addition of Williams' neighbor, Jason Bynum (rhythm guitar) .3 According to Williams, the band's name comes from one of the surnames of the mother of Josh and Zac Farro, when they realized it sounded like the word paramour in French and means "lover secret "so they decided to adopt it as a name but the spelling "Paramore" .8 The first concert of the band, even without a specific name, data 2 May 2004 in a very small local called "The End" 9 Subsequently, Paramore was made in places outside the metropolitan area Nashville, including the concert festivals Purple Door and Warped Tour. John Janick, co-owner and founder of Fueled by Ramen label to hear some demos of the band traveled to Orlando, Florida and gave them a reach in the "Taste of Chaos" to see how well they played live. After a private performance in a small warehouse, the band signed to the 25 April 2005.10 Paramore traveled back to Orlando, Florida, but soon after arriving, Jeremy Davis left the band, citing personal reasons for doing so. The remaining three members of Paramore continued with the composition of the album, named All We Know Is Falling was inspired by Jeremy. The cover of album reflects the band's pain over the departure of this, to what Hayley says: "The sofa on the cover of All We Know Is Falling to anyone there, and shade leaves, is about Jeremy and how to stop us feel that there is a gap. "10 The recordings of the album took only three weeks, and before the promotion, the band featuring John Hembree so Jeremy.11 stream replaces the 5 months after having left band, Davis rejoined the request of Hayley, replacing Hembree while Taylor York (guitar) also returned unofficially to request Farro.12 All We Know Is Falling was released on 26 July 2005 and reached number 30 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, but failed enter the U.S. Billboard 200. The second single "Pressure" a video directed by Shane Drake, but song is not as successful as expected. The third and final single was "Emergency", whose video was again directed by Shane Drake, plus have the appearance of Hunter Lamb (rhythm guitar), who replaced Jason Bynum.4 After participating in tours and festivals during 2006, 2007 Hunter Lamb left the band to marry, leaving Paramore four. On October 20, 2009 All We Know Is Falling was certified Disco Gold in the United States after selling 500.000 copias.13 [Edit] 2007-2008: Riot! and other projects Main article: Riot! Paramore began recording their second album, Riot! in January 2007, putting end production in March without guitarist Hunter Lamb, who had left the band earlier this year to marry, 4 without Lamb, Josh Farro was responsible for doing all the guitars on the album, 14 but Hayley York met Taylor, who had earlier formed a band with Farro brothers, sitting as a substitute for Lamb. Riot! was recorded in New Jersey and produced by David Bendeth. It was released on 12 June 2007, debuting at number 20 on the Billboard 200 at number 24 in the UK charts, selling 44.000 copies in its first week in United States. The name Riot! was chosen because it meant "a fit of uncontrolled emotion "and that was a word that" summed it all ". The first single, released on June 27 was "Misery Business", which according Hayley "Is the most honest song I wrote" .15 In the summer of 2007 participated for the third time on the Warped Tour, and published their experiences in a blog on MTV. In June they were declared by Rolling Stone magazine as "One Artist to Watch" (the group should not lose sight) .16 It was live television debut on The Daily Show Sauce. The second single from Riot!, "Hallelujah", was released on July 30 , 2007 exclusively for the UK. The video, like "All We Know ", features backstage footage and live performances. In August 2007 the band began appearing on various television commercials MTV performing acoustic versions of their songs and becoming "MTV Artist of the week ". For weeks the video for "Misery Business" was number one on the same website canal.17 On October 11, 2007 American TV debut on the video new single "Crushcrushcrush." The single was officially released United States on November 19 and the United Kingdom on 12 noviembre.18

The band toured with Jimmy Eat World in the U.S. in April May 2008. 10 and 11 May 2008 participated in the festival Give It A Name in the UK. Paramore played for the first time in Ireland on 2 June, followed by the Vans Warped Tour took place from 1 to 6 July. On May 7, 2008 in the program Total Request Live, MTV, Hayley Williams announced that the band was working on a new album and waiting launch next year. He also confessed that the band had been rehearsing the new songs during sound checks made during the tour. On July 11, 2008 Riot! was certified platinum in the United States. On September 7, appeared at the MTV Video Music Awards 2008 performing "Misery Business" also were nominated for Best Rock Video for "Crushcrushcrush." On May 19, 2008 Paramore announced that it would conduct a new tour, which is called "The Final Riot!" which began on July 25, presenting South American countries like Brazil and Chile, which ended on 27 October Santiago de Chile. During 2008 they recorded the song "Decode" for the soundtrack of the film Twilight. Another of the songs recorded for the soundtrack is "I Caught Myself" .24 "Decode" premiered on October 1, 2008, while the video was recorded on October 13 released in vivo in the city of Monterrey on 17 launched on 3 October and November, and the soundtrack of the film was launched on 4 November. On November 25 the band released a live album, entitled The Final Riot!, which includes a DVD with a concert recorded at Chicago and behind the scenes camera. On April 9, 2009 The Final Riot! was certified Disk Gold in the United States after selling more than 500.000 copias.25 [Edit] 2009-2010: Brand New Eyes and tours Main article: Brand New Eyes In January 2009, Josh Farro talked about the next studio album of band. Speaking to Kerrang!, Farro said: "We will try [to record] in Nashville, I think writing the album there and then inspires us if we record there will also be much easier because we can sleep in our beds during the night rather than in hotels like the other 300 days a year!. We are not confident that we will record yet. Decode did with [producer] Rob Cavallo, who was a good experience, but we're looking around and does not make any decisions until we have a lot of songs and know what we're looking for. We really enjoy our live sound and the producer really want to capture that ".26 On January 21, 2009, it was announced that Paramore was the special guest the Bedouin Soundclash, The Sounds and Janelle Monae at the Summer Tour 2009 No Doubt, from May 2009 in outdoor amphitheaters and spaces U.S. and Canadá.27 Paramore wrote and completed his latest album Brand New Eyes at the beginning 2009 and was released for sale on 29 September that year. The first single was Ignorance and was released on July 7, 2009. The Ignorance official music video aired on all channels MTV, networks and websites on 13 August 2009.28 Paramore had groups and Paper Route The Swellers as support bands Brand New Eyes for the Tour in the fall of 2009. The band performed in 2010 at the Australian Soundwave Festival alongside bands like Faith No More, Placebo, You Me at Six, All Time Low, Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday.36 Shortly before the tour, guitarist Josh Farro announced through LiveJournal would not participate in the tour of the Pacific to plan your wedding. Paramore's music has generally been classified as alternative rock, pop punk emo52 Alternative Press magazine and several music critics have pointed out that performances have helped the band gain more fame. Alternative Press notes that Williams has more charisma than singers twice her age, and his band are not far behind in his ribs. The singer / songwriter John Mayer had praised Williams's voice on a blog in October 2007 The great hope calling Orange. A critic of the NME had Paramore compared the sound to the punk ska band, No Doubt.
